Dr Jenny Anne Glikman

Social Scientist, Institute for Conservation Research, San Diego Zoo Global, USA

Dr. Jenny Anne Glikman works as social scientist within the Community Engagement team at the San Diego Zoo’s Institute for Conservation Research. In this position, her primary role is to establish and oversee the social aspects of conservation programs. Jenny is supervising multiple programs focused on human-wildlife interaction and conservation education worldwide, including Mexico, Peru, Kenya and S.E. Asia.

Dr. Glikman holds two MSc, the first in Applied Animal Behaviour and Animal Welfare from Edinburgh University (UK), and second in Conservation of Biodiversity and Management of Protected Areas at La Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. She earned a Ph.D in Human Dimensions of Wildlife from Memorial University, Newfoundland, Canada.
